Crucial has always flown under the radar when it comes to their solid state drives, that is probably when up until now they did not even have a Gen4 solid state drive. That changes with their brand new P5 Plus which boasts speeds of 6600 MB/s read and 5000 MB/s write. Like its predecessor the P5 Plus is a completely in-house drive, so the controller as well as the NAND are made by Crucial / Micron.
