Sunbeams Sound Activated CCFLs review
Conclusion :
Recently case modding became a big hype, and most people with modded cases also own one or more cold cathode lamps. So what can I say about the lamps from Sunbeam? The colors of the CCFLs are very good, only the red is a little bit washed out. The lamps generate some heat, but with some cooling in your case, that shouldn’t be any problem at all. As for the sound-activated module, the module look’s very good, and one of the pros of it is the sound sensitivity knob. There’s only one thing I’d like to see improved on it and that is some more speed variations on the flashing part (with the sensitivity knob for example)
Pro’s :
- Sound Activated module looks very nice
- Sound module has a sensitivity knob
- Inverters are packed in blue plastic boxes
- Bright lamps
- Excellent build quality
Con’s :
- Red color is a bit washed out

Thanks to Keven from Sunbeam for providing us with the cold cathodes
