Abit AN52V motherboard unveiled

Motherboard maker Abit unveiled the new AN52V motherboard for AM2/AM2+ processors.
abit designed the AN52V series motherboard especially for the mainstream users. The AN52V series not only provide a powerful platform with outstanding performance for normal users, but also focus on the need of hardware upgrade. The AN52V series motherboard support both AM2 CPU and the new generation AM2+ CPU coming soon so you will have further space to upgrade the platform. Through Hyper Transport Technology, AN52V series can reach system bus up to 2000MT per second.

nVidia nForce 520 single chipset is set on the AN52V series, strengthening the graphic performance. On the other hand, the AN52V series has 4 memory sockets that support 240-pin DIMM memory with DDR2 800/667/533, and the maximum memory capacity can be upgraded up to 8GB.

abit saw the need of multimedia from the users as well. The AN52V series are with 1 PCI-Express x16 slot, 2 PCI-Express x1 slots, and 3 PCI slots. The PCI-Express x16 slot can improve the display performance while the built-on-board 5.1 channel HD Audio system can satisfy your basic multimedia needs. abit specially designed the Gigabit Ethernet Local Area Network port for heavy internet users, providing you a shortcut to the world.
