Word is going around that AMD is working on the Radeon HD 4890. VR Zone claims this card is based on the RV790XT, and that it will be roughly 20 percent faster than the Radeon HD 4870.

The site heard a test sample of the Radeon HD 4890 has a 850MHz core at 1.3V and 975MHz GDDR5 memory. The ATI Radeon HD 4890 will compete with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 and is expected to cost between $199 to $249.
