Samsung N-series netbooks released

Samsung has introduced three new netbooks today, the N130, N140 and N510.

The Samsung N510 is a HD-netbook based on the NVIDIA ION platform, it features a 11.6" LCD display with 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, the Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB DDR2, NVIDIA ION LE graphics, 160GB HDD, Windows XP 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Ethernet, HDMI, 3-in-1 memory card reader, three USB 2.0 ports and a 1.3MP webcam. The 1.41kg N510 has a 6-cell li-ion battery which promises a battery life of up to 7 hours, the pricing should be 499EUR.

The N140 is the successor of the Samsung NC10, this netbook promises a battery life of up to 11 hours! It has a 10.1" LCD display with 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution, the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and a weight of only 1.27kg. Other features include Windows XP, 1GB DDR2, 160GB HDD, integrated graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3-in-1 memory card reader, Ethernet three USB 2.0 ports, and a Digital Livecam. It's priced at 359EUR.

The N130 has very similar specifications, but lacks Bluetooth and has a battery life of 7.5 hours. This netbook will retail for around 339EUR.
