Dutch tech site Tweakers reports hackers have come up with a tool that enables users to crack trial versions of Windows Store apps.

The tool is circulating on Chinese websites, it has a English user interface and makes it possible to turn any trial app from the Windows Store into the full release by pressing a single button. The site says this is possible because these trail versions are actually the full version of the app, usually with a certain limitation in place like a time limit or reduced functionality.

Besides being able to crack apps, the tool also makes it possible to install apps outside the Windows Store.
