A couple of years ago NVIDIA renamed its ForceWare drivers to GeForce and now AMD follows suit by retiring its Catalyst drivers in favor of a new tool called Radeon Software. This is not merely a new name, the new graphics card driver has a new interface and promises to load much faster than the old control panel.

The first Radeon Software driver is expected to be launched later this month, it will be called Radeon Software "Crimson Edition" 15.11. The driver's tagline will be used to identify major versions, all new Radeon Software drivers released in the 2015/2016 timeframe will reportedly use the "Crimson Edition" tagline.

The Radeon Software will be your one-stop to manage all graphics card settings including per-game profile management for all games installed on your PC.
