John Romero and Adrian Carmack team up to make new FPS game!

John Romero announced he's teaming up with Adrian Carmack, co-creator of Doom and Quake, to make a new first person shooter! The duo set up a new game studio called Night Work Games in Ireland and more details will be revealed on Monday.

This means two of the original four founders of id Software are back in the game.

Romero left id Software after the launch of the first Quake game due to a quarrel with John Carmack. Adrian (who is not related to John) on the other hand was lead programmer at id Software and served as video game artist until he left the video game industry in 2005.
