AMD to preview Zen at December 13 event

AMD announces it will provide a glimpse of its Zen processor at "New Horizon", a preview event scheduled for December 13 at 3pm CST.

The event will be hosted by game journalist Geoff Keighley and will feature Dota 2 gamer Peter Dager (aka PPD) from the Evil Geniuses eSports team. PPD will put Zen through its paces and AMD promises appearances from special guests and giveaways.

The official launch date for AMD's Zen processor is set for Q1 2017. We're not quite sure what to expect from this presentation, it seems geared towards gamers with an emphasis on eSports games. Hopefully we'll get at least some in-depth details and some crystal clear benchmark results, but if AMD's most recent events are of any guide this will probably not be the case.
