Bits and Chips suggests it heard from its sources (presumably at AMD Italy) that AMD's upcoming Radeon RX Vega video cards will have a terrific price/performance ratio. Additionally, the site speculates there may be a nano version of Vega and mentions that the company really needs the next-gen Navi GPU to have a chance at attacking NVIDIA in the HPC market.

Lastly, there's also a rumor that Polaris will remain the go-to architecture for cryptocurrency mining because it will have a better price to performance ratio than Vega:
For mining heavy users, the source further claims that Polaris will continue to feature best price to power consumption ratio. A Vega graphics card that uses the same foundation and form factor as the Radeon R9 Nano is also expected but that’s yet to be confirmed.
As always, take these rumors with a grain of salt. We can't vouch for the accuracy.

AMD's Vega-based gaming cards will be revealed on July 30.
