An interesting Intel chipset roadmap has leaked to the Internet. It confirms an earlier rumor that Intel renamed its B350 to B360 because AMD already has a B350 product, and it reveals there will be an entry-level H310 chipset.

But it's a small detail of the roadmap that's getting most of the attention. It appears Intel is preparing a new high-end chipset called Z390. At the moment, it's not clear whether the Z390 will replace the Z370 or if both chipsets will be offered simultaneously.

Intel's Coffee Lake-S desktop processors and the Z370 motherboards are expected to be launched in early October. The roadmap indicates the Z390 is slated for the second half of 2018. At the moment, there are no details about the specifications of the Z390.
