AMD sees departure of marketing chief Chris Hook

UPDATE: Chris Hook confirmed the news via his Facebook page. He says he's taking a few days of vacation, and will take up a new role at another company at the end of April. No details were shared about where he's heading.

Semi Accurate picked up word that Chris Hook has left AMD.

Over the last seven months, Hook was AMD's Global Product Marketing director, and he's been with the company for eons. Hook served in various high-ranking marketing since he joined ATI in February 2001.

The site says it's currently unknown where Hook is going.
