Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Chris Rolland is more bullish on AMD on signs that the company is increasing its marketshare in both the desktop PC and laptop markets. In his most recent analysis about AMD, Rolland notes that Ryzen Mobile is showing "signs of life", and that "most data points for AMD were constructive."
The report notes this is negative for Intel, even though Rolland remains bullish on Intel and uses the words "remains strong" to describe Intel's product mix. Rolland currently has a "neutral" rating on AMD's stock an a "positive" rating on Intel's stock.
AMD's shares are up 6.68 percent to $29.21 today, which is close to a 12-year high for the stock.
