The pricing of solid state disks has fallen as a rock as the market is seeing oversupply.

At the moment, prices have fallen below $0.10 per gigabyte according to a report by DigiTimes.

Citing Chinese storage device maker Longsys Electronics, the site reports the pricing of SSDs may even fall below the $0.05 mark next year.

Definitely good news if you're in need of a lot of storage for your system, with pricing this low there would be almost no reason to pick a HDD.
