Will prices of SSDs shoot up again? DigiTimes picked up news that Samsung Electronics is planning to increase its NAND flash memory quotes by up to 10 percent in the near future.

Samsung is world's largest NAND maker and its new strategy may cause others to follow suit. The report indicates Micron Technologies, the third largest NAND flash memory manufacturer, may also increase its pricing. Samsung has about 30 percent of the market, while Micron has a marketshare of around 16.5 percent.
