The somewhat odd color scheme of Noctua fans has been one of the company's unique differentiators since 2005. Not everyone likes it and Noctua has slowly been rolling out new products with more traditional color schemes. Now the firm is teases a new line of Chromax coolers with an all-black design.
Not only the fan will be black, every element of the cooler will be coated in black. Performance-wise, Noctua promises cooling results that are less than one degree worse than the non-black versions. The Chromax coolers are expected in Q4 2019, this includes black variants of the Noctua NH-D15, NH-U12S and NH-L9i.
