Are you suddenly experiencing network adapter failures? The latest cumulative patch for Windows 10 may be to blame. Neowin reports various users are complaining about Ethernet and WiFi adapter issues after the installation of Microsoft's KB4515384 cumulative patch for Windows 10. So far, it seems the only temporary fix that's guaranteed to work is the deinstallation of KB4515384:
Users affected by this bug can attempt to re-enable the network adapter via Device Manager, and then reboot their systems. However, by all accounts so far, it does seem that the only fix for now is to uninstall the KB4515384 cumulative update. Although Microsoft has not officially acknowledged the issue yet, users will be hoping that a proper workaround is detailed soon.
