NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition heatsink design leaks

VideoCardz came across another photo that shows off the cooling solution of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition. The new photo shows the heatsink without a shroud attached to it. It reveals the heatsink consists of one big block with four heatpipes.
This uniquely shaped heatsink will feature dual fans, each on the opposite side of the card. This should improve airflow no matter how the card is installed in the system. This is also another open-air cooling system by NVIDIA and it appears that blower-type designs are a thing of the past.
Earlier this week, we already saw this photo. It's unknown when NVIDIA will reveal its Ampere-based GPUs. Earlier rumors pointed to a September announcement but perhaps it will be sooner...
