Microsoft quietly removed the option to automatically search for new driver updates via the Windows Device Manager. Since cumulative update KB4568831, this feature is no longer available in Windows 10 May 2020 Update.

TechSpot argues the feature rarely worked as intended, so it may not be a big miss. Searching for the latest drivers is still possible via the Settings app, under Windows Update.
While many novice and experienced PC users still head to the Device Manager to try and fix any malfunctioning hardware/software issues, the program has rarely been of use when it comes to searching and installing drivers from the web. It makes sense, therefore, for Microsoft to disable this functionality that usually ended up disappointing anyway.
