To celebrate the 40th anniversary of GUNDAM, ASUS is releasing a bunch of GUNDAM-styled products. Besides routers, cooling products, displays, cases and power supplies, this will also include motherboards. Below you can view the ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme GUNDAM.
It's unknown if these products will be sold outside Japan.
The GUNDAM edition features a preinstalled monoblock over the CPU, VRM and chipsets areas. There are appear to be no changes to the PCB layout, but the motherboard covers are now of different colors: silver/blue and red.
The OLED screen over the M.2 slot is certainly gone, but we do not have any other pictures to say that GUNDAM no longer has any other screen.
