Google is rolling out Chrome 88, this new version packs a couple of features to enhance password security. The changes are highlighted on the Google Security blog.

The new version focuses on legacy passwords. Chrome 88 will offer a feature that will let you do a quick check up of all saved passwords, to identify any weak passwords:
We’ve all had moments where we’ve rushed to set up a new login, choosing a simple “name-of-your-pet” password to get set up quickly. However, weak passwords expose you to security risks and should be avoided. In Chrome 88, you can now complete a simple check to identify any weak passwords and take action easily.
Furthermore, Google has made it easier to update saved passwords for cases where you have multiple usernames for one site. These can now be managed more easily in Chrome Settings.
