Intel to release low voltage Meroms in January

Core 2 Duo L7200 and L7400 are 1.33 GHz and 1.5 GHz models, which have 4MB L2 cache and 667MHz FSB. They are packaged in Socket M interface and support Napa Refresh platform. Its TDP are only 17W, almost a half of the normal models. The price will be $284 and $316 respectively.

While the Ultra Low Voltage models are not available in Jan 2007, it’s known that the first ULV model will be Core 2 Duo U7500, a 1.06 GHz with 2MB L2 cache and 533MHz FSB model, much weaker than normal models, but its 11W TDP posed it at a advantaged position for battery saving. Like other Merom, it’s packaged in Socket M interface and support Napa Refresh platform. The price is yet to be determined.
