Sony PS3 Slim to be launched at Gamescom?

Rumor has it that Sony may be planning to introduce the PS3 Slim console on August 18th at the Gamescom expo in Cologne.

Furthermore, Sony is also reportedly informing retailers that a 100EUR price cut on the 80GB PS3 is on the way.
