Apple interested in the Cell processor?

A rumour that Apple might start using the Cell processor raised the company's share price:

Financial analysts raised the share-price of Apple ahead of a proposed announcement, with the suggestion being that a partnership could bring an iTunes styled service for movies on demand, a high-performance Apple/Sony workstation or a CELL embedded TV.
