Forum creates XWall - XML firewall

Forum Systems and Computer Associates have formed a team to create an antivirus solution against XML viruses. The deal will allow Forum to include CA's eTrust antivirus software in its XML firewall for blocking unwanted traffic into company networks.
The new security product will be called Forum XWall. It will be able to search traffic for viruses, worms and other malicious XML applications.

Salt Lake City-based Forum Systems plans to announce the addition of the antivirus module to XWall on Monday. It will be available at the beginning of May, with pricing ranging from $5,000 to $40,000.XML viruses don't exists yet, but Forum believes they will become common in the future when people start using XML more and more.
