Yahoo names Larry Tesler

Yahoo appointed Larry Tesler, 60, as the vice president of its user experience and design group. He will also be a research fellow in Yahoo's Research Lab focusing on human-computer interaction.
In the past Tesler worked at Xerox, where he pioneered "cut and paste", nowadays one of the standard elements of graphical user interfaces. He also worked for 17 years at Apple as chief scientist and vice president of engineering and over the last three years he has worked as vice president at Amazon where he helped to improve the experience of consumers.
