BT mixes cell phone with fixed line

BT has launched a new budget cell phone that also supports fixed line phone. The company says the phone will work on BT's fixed-line network at home or in the office and will switch to a cellular network when the users is on the move.
The cell phone is manufactured by Motorola and is available as the Motorola v560. It also supports other features such as VGA camera with photo caller ID, 5MB memory, e-mail, MMS, video capture and playback and other features. More info about the v560 can be found here
BT claims this phone will give you the cost of a fixed line, the convenience of a mobile and better coverage. Within the next year the company also plans to launch Wi-Fi phones for large businesses. More details at Earth Times
