Sony PSP launch in Europe on September 1st with firmware 2.0

Gamesindustry.biz heard from Sony the European Sony PSP consoles will be immediately equipped with firmware v2.0 when they arrive on September 1st.

The new firmware adds an official web browser, wireless picture sharing and some other small updates. The new firmware also fixes a security hole which allowed PSP users to run homebrew and pirated software.
