Fujitsu to use carbon nanotubes as heatsinks

Fujitsu claims it has found a way to use carbon nanotubes as semiconductor heatsinks.

It said using carbon nanotubes as heatsinks for high frequency power amplifiers allows high amplification and heat dissipation at the same time.

The carbon nanotube is a phenomenon waiting for an application, and Fujitsu said that its tech is a major step forward. It will allow for the creation of high performance amplifiers with high frequency and high power for nexgen mobile comms systems.
