xBetas reports of a new FPS fix for the Doom 3 Alpha, this fix includes a tweaked version of the DoomConfig.cfg and fredo.cfg :

  Well there are a lot of rumours going around... You can also try just deleting the DoomConfig.cfg file, when you load the alpha the next time it will make a new DoomConfig.cfg file optimized for your PC.
