TeamGroup NV5000 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD Review

Today we take a look at the TeamGroup NV5000 2TB, positioned as an entry-level PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD. It features up to 5,000 MB/s sequential read and 3,000 MB/s write speeds, 3D NAND flash, graphene heat-dissipation label, SLC caching, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, TRIM support, and a 640TBW endurance rating.

"The TeamGroup NV5000 2TB turned out to be considerably more interesting than its entry-level specifications initially suggested. TeamGroup rates the drive for sequential speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s read and 3,000 MB/s write, and our sample slightly exceeded the read specification while far exceeding the advertised write figure. CrystalDiskMark reached 5,171 MB/s read and an impressive 4,943 MB/s write while the drive's SLC cache was available."
