You may have never heard of Cowon, but this Korean company is looking to take away some of Apple’s market share. The X5 is around the size and weight of the iPod with a joystick on the front to control the player. The lack of a scrollpad makes maneuvering through a large music collection a hassle, and the 1.8-inch color screen is a bit small for viewing photos and video.
