The 6800GS is a spin-off from the already highly successful 6800 series and on paper it boasts very respectable specifications. Since this product is geared towards the mainstream user segment I will be testing the card in a system that represents that group. Later on in the week I will be re-testing the product in an SLI configuration (and consequently another article). Due to a shipping miscalculation I have had a very limited time with my review sample. The EVGA 6800GS arrived mid-afternoon Saturday but that is going to give me a chance to put together a SLI review later in the week..
