Despite the recent arrival of the Radeon X1000 series, the GeForce 7800 GTX still remains one of the fastest gaming cards available. Initially these graphics cards were priced at around $600 US, three months later this price has now fallen to $500 US. Given the Radeon X1800XT cards are only starting to become available at $600 US, it is going to be difficult to purchase one of these cards over a GeForce 7800 GTX.
