Panasonic DMR-ES20S Review

Panasonic's DMR-ES10 became one of the first name-brand DVD recorders to break the $200 price barrier earlier this year. That unit delivered solid video quality but had a few important shortcomings: no automatic chapter stops, skimpy editing options, and no DV input. Enter the Panasonic DMR-ES20: it's identical to its predecessor except that it includes that missing DV input, which allows for easy camcorder-to-DVD dubbing. The chapter-stop and editing problems remain. The good news is that the ES20 keeps the ES10's $199 price tag. Head over to CNET's full test report to learn more about this DVD recorder.
