As Microsoft inches closer to the forthcoming public beta release of Office 2007 sometime this summer, beta 2 is now being distributed worldwide in 5 different languages—English, Spanish, German, French, and Japanese. This iteration looks and acts much like the "refreshed" beta 1 I described in March, with improvements to the interface, some bug fixes, and a few new features—notably a blogging capability integrated into Word, and SMS text messaging built into Outlook.
