Corsair HX620w Modular Power Supply Review

Posted on Monday, October 02 2006 @ 14:44:15 CEST by LSDsmurf

The Corsair HX620w is an ideal product for those building the latest and greatest gaming system. It has proven to be more than capable of delivering an SLI GeForce 7900GT system with more than enough juice. The power supply also worked flawlessly in the Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 system, which was also coupled with the extremely powerful Radeon X1950XTX graphics card. Although this 620watt power supply does not seem all that extreme in a market crowded with 700watt+, the HX620w is not to be underestimated, as I have seen 750 watt units fluctuate more under load.
