The AW9D-MAX is a Core 2 ready board based on Intel 975X Express chipset targeted at the gaming and enthusiast community. The AW9D-MAX is really the successor to the AW8D-MAX motherboard, which was ABIT's first and very late (only launched around April 2006) attempt at an ultimate 975X Express motherboard. Since the AW8D-MAX didn't have Core 2 support, many have waited in anticipation for the AW9D-MAX, which we now have on hand.
