The S12 models have been the quietest, fan cooled, high efficiency ATX power supplies reviewed by SPCR. Now, 80 Plus approved versions are available for certified high efficiency, in high power 550W and 650W models. We found Seasonic's OEM-version 80 Plus models to be everything that is claimed for them. Do these new Energy Plus models retain the strengths of the standard S12s while offering even higher efficiency?
