DFI LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 11 2006 @ 00:10:32 CEST by LSDsmurf

With vast memory tweaking and overclocking options in the BIOS, the SLI-M2R/G motherboard should make overclocking easy and fun. We managed to hit over 640 MHz memory frequencies when we paired it with some OCZ VX2 Micron D9s, which broke our own lab records in terms of memory speed. At the same time, our Athlon 3000+ also reached slightly over 3.2GHz whilst on water-cooling only. Nevertheless, the current BIOS needs a little improvement as we were limited to only 370HTT.
