Asus M2N32-SLI nForce 590 SLI AMD Motherboard Review

The nForce 590 SLI chipset for the AMD AM2 platform was launched in conjunction with the processors in June of this year, and NVIDIA has enjoyed much success with it since then. The only major competition for it has been ATI’s XPress 3200 chipset, and ATI hasn’t had much success getting board vendors to actually make and sell those boards. NVIDIA, much like we saw with the nForce4 chipset in the Socket 939 days, is mopping up the chipset market not necessarily because of technical advantage, but due to the incapable competition.
