The Kama Connect is a... now get this... USB2.0 to SATA and IDE Multi Adapter Kit. Yup, that is a mouthful. Basically, it's an external adapter that plugs into hard drives and optical drives. Included is an external power supply with an on/off switch mounted in the power cord. All the data transfer from the attached drives pass into the adapter and out through 2.0 USB cable. Nifty, eh? The concept is just about any IDE or SATA drive can be connected to your computer via USB, and all of this is done without an enclosure.
