Nvidia NForce 570 and 590 SLI Review

Posted on Friday, October 20 2006 @ 00:43:08 CEST by LSDsmurf

Nvidia's greatest successes in the chipset market thus far have been when their core logic is used in conjunction with AMD based processors. While Nvidia has produced several products for use with Intel based processors to date, none have been the market-dominating forces which we've seen with their AMD based products. This is likely caused by the fact that they've typically been somewhat late to market with feature sets which are more or less un-impressive when compared to other high-end solutions. With AMD based products on the decline for performance users, this presents an issue, as people are now looking to Nvidia to provide a high-end multi-GPU chipset solution for Intel Core 2 Duo based systems.
