Looking at the things you are getting in more detail you’ll notice an acrylic cube either side of the cathode tubes. This is to prevent the cathodes hitting against anything when secured and also helps to put it in place as you can see from the picture below, each cube has sticky tape underneath to help secure the tube. I must add these sticky tapes aren’t very good and you may find yourself using cello tape or something else to help keep the tubes in place after the tapes wear out.
