Enthusiasts and gamers alike always want to have a high end gaming system. The heart of any gaming system as you can imagine is the VGA card. Today I will take a look at the Crucial’s X800 Pro 256MB video card, which is based on ATi's R420 GPU core. The X800Pro is one of the fastest video cards out there, although not the fastest one since the introduction of the X800 XT PE and the NVIDIA’s 6800 Ultra video cards, but it surely is far from leaving the top cards chart yet. Crucial’s offering appears to offer probably one of the best price/performance ratio for such a card at the time being, with a price of $449.99 at USD and 410,9€ (including UK’s 17,5% VAT) within Europe, as of December, 2004.
