In ancient Greek mythology, Aeolus was the ruler of the winds. When directed by the higher gods, he would release the winds as breezes or gales - or whatever the gods wished. Had the gods had computers, they would have likely summoned Aeolus to keep their overclocked, quad-core rigs nice and breezy.
