Having five full length x16 slots is very nice because any length PCI Express device can be used in them, plus the available bandwidth is much higher than a x4 or x1. Connectivity shouldn't be a problem unless consumers are wanting to use older hardware, such as PCI cards. With dual gigabit Ethernet, both optical TOSLINK and RCA S/PDIF, two USB 3.0 slots, one IEEE 1394 FireWire, a combination PS/2 port, and six USB 2.0 ports there are plenty of options on how to hook things up.
