There are two new drives in the HyperX range with 120GB and 240GB capacities, but the flagship 240GB is the one we're looking at here. Since these drives are aimed at the high performance end of the market, it makes sense that Kingston has teamed up with SandForce, and its new drives make use of the latest SF-2281 controllers. It may seem like Kingston has been a bit slow off the mark – the controller it's chosen has been around for a while – but if there's one thing Kingston is known for, its making bulletproof products.
