The first thing a media PC should be is quiet. In the past, media PCs have spoiled any enjoyment with a constant loud whirring of fans detracting from whatever you might be watching. When we first unpacked the MediaJoy 3850, we were worried that it might suffer the same fate – we counted four fans attached to the case alone. Thankfully, when we turned the machine on, we found to be very quiet – and certainly unnoticeable when soundtracks are blaring.
