Temperatures hit a high of 69 C with no case fans and the default powersupply. With the purple thing extended (we tipped open the side of the panel, overextended it slightly and allowed it to push against the heatsink to get a tight fit. Remember the purple thing is not actively cooled, it just forms a funnel to the outside of the case. New temperature- 59 C. Can you say wow? This is without any case fans and we achieved a 10 C CPU temperature reduction. Yes, ambient temperature was the same, in fact it was probably a touch higher for the run with the purple thing. I do not know if it has a proper name but yes it performs despite its humble looks.
